"Patrick, you're up." Inori couldn't help but smile at him. "Everyone is at breakfast, you may want to go down and have some before there's none left. I already ate." she lied. Her eyes fell back to Wolfgang, then Bonzo as he left. She sat up and smiled at him again. "I'm going to go see the sabbia."
Bonzo's words echoed in his head. The voice was obviously not pleased, because he began to thrash around In his thoughts. That bastard! Treating me ad if I was just dead weight! Damn him, damn him!!! Wolfgang let his elbow rest on the table as he winced slightly, but it hurt less than he thought. Perhaps Bonzo was right.

Finally finishing her eggs, and noticing that Wolfgang was still sitting, silently by himself, she decided to get up and go sit next to him. He looked like he needed some company. "You doing alright?" She asked him, hoping he wouldn't mind that she was sitting next to him. She glanced around and spotted Patrick, glad that he was finally awake. Turning back to Wolfgang, she asked again. "You ok?"
Patrick shrugged. "I'm not really all that hungry... I guess I just ate too much last night." While that was true, the only real reason he wasn't eating right now was because the gore in his dream made him lose his appetite. "Do you mind if I come along?"

"One hundred percent." he said with a slightly sarcastic tone. He was glad to see Sahara, after what Bonzo had said he wondered if distancing himself was in fact a bad idea. "you can sit if you want." He took a drink of his water, he would never take it for granted again. "Are you ready for today? Nevermind, of course you are." he rested his chin on his palm, elbow still on the table.
"of course," Inori grabbed his hand, she pushed her thoughts away, she had enjoy the moments now. "Jester will probably be sad to go, he seemed to like all the attention the jintori gave him." she laughed.

Sahara smiled. "I'm always ready. Show no fear, right?" She grabbed hold of Wolfgang's cup and took a drink from it, then set it back on the table. "You don't mind, do you? Ofcourse you don't." She smiled. She was starting to turn back into her old self. Not the annoying self with the attitude, but the carefree, couragous self.
****
Patrick laughed as well. "He will probably be pestering me. Speaking of Jester, keep your distance from him. I think he plans to steal you away from me." He chuckled as he followed the wooden bridges down to a wooden elavator like contraption. "Sorry." he shrugged. "Unlike you, I don't have wings. But boy, would I die to have a pair." He smiled.

Inori's expression changed quickly, she looked at her wings, she loved them and the feeling of flying high in the air. "...well, I can share." she wrapped her arms around him, his back facing to her. Het wings beat at the air until they were both up. She grunted, carrying him and Connor before had been so much easier, maybe it was the adreneline that had been in her blood. She set him down again and huffed lightly "..sorry"
"Well I guess I can't mind." he smirked and pushed his empty plate away, Wolfgang stood up, he was feeling anxious now. "Should we be leaving soon?"

Patrick laughed, not at her, but truly with her. "It's fine. Your not super women. I guess I need to stop gaining weight!" He grabbed hold of her hand and led her into the elevator. "Besides, walking isn't THAT bad." He kissed her lightly on the lips and glanced aroung. "Now... how do you start this thing... oh here it is." He flipped a small switch and the elevator gently lowered them down to the ground, which was a lot further down than he first thought. As soon as they stepped out, the elevator took itself back up. "I guess it is just for getting traders out.. I suppose you have to ask for assitance to get up."
He walked around until he found the most stable looking thing he could find. It wasn't hard, there was only one building on the ground. The stables were protected by four jintori, each with long, scarily sharp spears and coated in armor. Beyond them, Patrick could see the sabbia, seperated from the other men's horses. He supposed to keep them from fighting.
He walked up to the stables. The jintori guards smiled and nodded them inside. Patrick walked inside and chuckled at the sight right in front of him. They were all laying inside and sleeping, Strawberry in the middle with Buskin and Jester laying right next to her on both side. "Looks like they are taking the time to rest up and find love too." He snickered. At hearing his voice, Jester woke up. He seemed happy to see him again, and Inori too.
Jester stood and ruffled his feathers, then ran over to Patrick, who petted his beak. "Good morning Jester. Look like you had a good nights sleep."
***
"Oh yea!" Sahara remembered that she was supposed to check on the supplies. "I need to go make sure our supplies are all ready... want to come along? Unless there is something else you need to do. Either way, I need to go see Kumming." She glanced around the room until she finally spotted him. She ran up to him and smiled embarrassingly. "Sorry.. I got preoccupied.. I'm ready to check out our supplies." Kumming smiled and nodded. "Ofcourse."

Inori Looked down at the Sabbia, she could see how close Jester and Patrick were, like brothers almost. "We should probably find Wolfgang an Sahara, I can only assume our supplies is ready." she looked back at Buskin, who was up and about aswell. "It going to be a long flight, isn't it?"
Wolfgang sat up and followed Sahara. (reaally short. Sorry)

Patrick nodded. "Very long." He looked at her sadly, then walked over to Jester and examined his wing. "His wounds are completly healed up now..." She looked over at Inori. "If, while we are flying you get too tired, you can ride with me for a bit on Jester. He is a tough boy." Patrick rubbed Jester's beak again, then nodded. "Lets go ahead and find them."
He walked over to the elevator, then remembered how it went back up on its own. "Oh... how do we..." But before he could finish asking, the elevatori lowered itself. It hit the ground and opened, and Patrick noticed a tall jintori standing there. He must have lowered it for them. Patrick smiled at Inori. "Come on." He stepped inside.
****
Kumming led Sahara and Wolfgang down a long wooden walkway, and into a large building. There were many humans in here, looking at wares and selling their own items to a few of the jintori. Some of the humans and jintori were cleaning up, sweeping and mopping and all that. Finally, they wound up in a large room. Sahara recognized Bonzo, and gave him a slight smile. Bonzo returned the smile.
"I tried to pick out weapons I thought you guys might like..." Bonzo picked up a few swords. "Since I realized a few of you have lost your weapons." He handed Sahara first a large, broad sword. "I thought Patrick might like this sword." Sahara picked up the wide blade and was amazed by how light it was. Bonzo smiled. "Made by humans from the east. It is just as big and dangerous as any other of its kind, except that it is much lighter, which allows for heavier and faster swinging." Sahara smiled. "He'll love this."
She set the sword back down on the ground next to their supplies which she saw a few bags of food, special jintori made cantines, snacks, as well as medical supplies, blankets, and brand new coats and clothes. She smiled, glad they had decided to stop here and get supplies.
"These..." Bonzo continued. "Are for you." Sahara looked up and took the two items in her hands. Her eyes widened as she held them. "These are perfect!" she smiled, excited to use them. "Erus- Rector and Parvus- Rector. Two blades, long and short. Made by jintori." Sahara turned the two weapons in her hand. The long sword was incredibly sharp and magnificent, and the dagger felt perfect in her hand, stylish, yet deadly. "Thank you." Bonzo nodded, handing her the sheaths, which Sahara put the blades away into and set them aside.
"For Inori, it was tough, I hope she likes them, but I found these babies." Bonzo handed Sahara a couple of elbow blades, fashioned with gems and gold, yet incredibly sharp. Perfect for close combat. "It is almost like using your own fists. Except that they do alot more damage." Sahara smiled. "She should like them... but.. " She frowned. "These look expensive... are you sure-" "Ofcourse!" Bonzo interupted. "You are friends to the flock. And so you are a part of the flock. And we take care of our own." Sahara smiled, not even able to show how much she appreciated everything.
Bonzo looked at Wolfgang and frowned. "I'm sorry... I could not read you... I had no idea what to get you. I also realized you still have a weapon... if you wish, you may pick out a new sword from one of the traders here. I would be happy to pay for it."

Wolfgang shook his head, "No, this weapon was my father's, and his before that. But I thank you, Bonzo." He mustered a genuine smile. "For everything." He looked around at the other humans and Jintori. "There are so many different wares here, it's something I've never seen before in my life." He then turned to Sahara, taking some of the supplies. "I'll bring these to the Sabbia and start packing them up." He nodded at Bonzo once again.
Inori stepped on to the elevator, hugging Patrick as she did. "This place is truley amazing." her smile faded slowly, "I'll miss everyone here, they are our friends too, right?" Inori's heart fluttered in her chest. "I never had friends in my whole life... now I have so many." Her smile widened.

Bonzo smiled back at Wolfgang. "Take care of yourself." He said to him, before turning to Sahara. "My offer sticks Sahara. Stay here. Your friends can stay too. It would be good for Inori... being around more jintori just like herself. And... I don't know, maybe you will get to know me a little better, and..." Sahara laughed sadly. "I'm sorry Bonzo, you know I can't do that. I made a promise."
Bonzo hung his head in defeat and laughed slightly. "I understand. Promises are important to you, right?" Sahara shrugged. "Well... recently, very important." Bonzo nodded and picked up some of the supplies. "I packed a cloak and hood for Inori... If you guys are going back to the village, it might be good to have one." Sahara nodded and smile, picking up a few bags herself. "Thank you for helping me take these down." Bonzo nodded. "Well, it isn't that hard."
Sahara started down the hall when she ran into Patrick and Inori. "There you guys are. Hey, if you don't mind, the supplies are in there. Could you help carry them down?" Patrick nodded. "Now a problem." "Oh, and Bonzo picked out a sword for you... make sure it is cool, ok?" Patrick smiled. "Thanks Bonzo."

"Yes, thank you so much. All of you." Inori really couldn't thank the Jintori enough. It gave her hope. She knew that not all Jintori were like the raiders, and that maybe one day all humans and Jintori could coexsist.
Wolfgang placed down the supplies in the stable, he exhaled quickly. "Alright, Buskin. I guess we should suit up. Sorry, it looks like you're the pack mule." Buskin walked over to him and pecked him on the leg, he then nibbled at his cloak. "What is it? Stop that..! Look, I know you're restless, but we're leaving soon, alright?" He sighed and began packing the supplies onto Buskin's sides. He didn't want to approach Jester or Strawberry, he knew that even though the Sabbia were friendly to Sahara and Patrick, that they might not like his aura. He usually spooked animals, he was surprised Buskin was a laid-back as he was.

And just like that, they were in the air again. Flying back into danger, only this time, they were prepared. The Rogue jintori clan disapeared too quickly behind them, and they all felt a little sad to leave. Though the memories would remain in their minds forever. Sahara felt whole again, with her new weapons hanging off of her. She finally had gloves and a new leather seat for flight, which Sahara was thankful to have. She would have closed her eyes, spread her arms and took in the joyness of flight, but they were no longer in the desert, and that meant there were trees to dodge.
As they got a little bit closer to the sea, Patrick and Sahara were very happy to have new coats, which kept the wind from biting their skin. The temperature had to have dropped atleast twenty degrees since they left the jintori. The coats were even from a different village, so that they wouldn't be attacked as soon as they made it to Shifuto Aisu.
They flew in silence for much of the time, but Sahara began to feel a little tired. Maybe she should have stayed in bed just a bit longer. "When we get to the coast," Patrick began. "We'll rest up for the night. The flight across the ocean will be long and trecherous. Especially considering we don't know where Shifuto Aisu is floating. Luckily the frozen sea isn't too big for sabbia."
Sahara swallowed nervously. She just realized what this meant. Flying over the ocean. Last time she had gone to Shifuto Aisu, it was in a boat, and even that was terrifying. She remembered how they were attacked by some freakish sea creatures. Luckily, they were high in the air this time. She just hoped there wasn't some evil giant seagull to attack them.

Wolfgang was thankful to be out of the desert. The trees were almost nostalgic, and the cold air made him feel rejuvinated, alive. He wore his new clothes, it was a dark coat and darker trousers. He was very happy to have a new saddle and gloves, they were much more comfortable. Wolfgang would miss the Jintori flock, it was an interesting community. Part of him wondered what Shifuto Aisu would be like, curiosity consuming him while the other part worried. The frozen sea would be dangerous. He had heard many tales from his childhood of hideous creatures that could suck away a man's soul by looking at him. He wasn't sure if there was any truth to them, but he always knew the unknown to be scarier anyways.
Inori's wings fought against the cold air, she wore the heavy cloak that Bonzo had given her, and her elbow blades held tight in her grasp. She had never used many weapons in her life, but the idea of them seemed easy enough.

Patrick glanced back every now and then to make sure everyone was alright, especially Inori. "Inori, if you need a break... let me know." He had already decided that when it was time to fly over the sea, she could ride with him. It was way too cold for a jintori to be flying, even colder than the desert at night. Luckily, they had packed an extra heavy coat just for Inori.
Sahara flew beside Wolfgang. "Yeesh, I think we created a monster." she joked about Patrick and Inori. The wind chill brushed against her face, reminding her that she was going back to that hell hole of a glacier, but atleast it kept her awake. "Wolfgang, do you believe in true love?" She randomly asked, watching Patrick flirt with Inori. "I mean... I'm just curious. I was always told that there is a person out there for everyone. Do you believe that crap?"

Wolfgang remained silent, taken back by Sahara's sudden question. He frowned, thinking hard. "I beleive in true love, yes. But as for there being a person for everyone... I don't beleive that. Too many people die alone or too young, it's like arguing about destiny." He wasn't sure if that was the answer she wanted, but it wasthe only one he could give. "As for Patrick and Inori... it seems pretty genuine."
Inori sped up so she flew beside Patrick, her hair flew behind her, something she hated when flying because it made her face so cold. "I'm fine, don't worry. If it gets too cold, I'll tell you." She smiled, and flew higher up. It made her comfortable, being able to see all three of them while looking down. It made her feel that she was watching over them, in more than just a literal sense.

Sahara glanced down and nodded. "Yea... those two seem pretty happy together..." She glanced away. Maybe it was best to just shut up, then she wouldn't be hurting herself by bringing up sadness. Boy, Wolfgang sure was a conversation killer. She pulled away and pat Strawberry on her head. Maybe there wasn't somebody for everyone... maybe some people were just born not to love, or be loved. She frowned. The last time she had truly loved anyone... they had been taken away from her... her whole family. Her brother, mother, and father.
It made Sahara afraid to love. It's the reason she was always so quiet about her feelings. It was why she had so many secrets... She winced in pain as a shock went up her thigh from her robot leg. 'knock it off.' She growled to herself, sighing deeply.

Wolfgang leaned back lightly, "Are you alright? I didn't offend you... did I?" but he could see there was physical pain on her face. He frowned deeply. "What is it?"

Sahara shook her head. "Its nothing. Guess I just shifted the wrong way... must have sat on a feather." she shrugged, but kept her gaze forward, waiting for the coast to come into view, though she knew it was still a while away. Still, the faster they got there, the quicker she could go back to sleep. She wanted to talk about a few things, but how could she? She couldn't talk to Patrick, it would be too weird. And she couldnt say anything to Wolfgang... Its not like he would care anyway. He was a guy. Probably one of those guys that don't care to hear somebody blurt out their feelings about things. She would spare him by keeping quiet.
Patrick decided to fly out ahead a ways. He thought he had seen movement, and he wanted to make sure it wasn't anybody that would try to harm them, especially Inori.

Wolfgang nodded, she sounded like him, making bad excusess, but if she didn't want him to know, he would leave her be. He watched ahead as Patrick went out further. He hoped the coast was close, it meant Shifuto Aisu was all the more closer.
Inori drifted, she could feel her wings getting colder, "please tell me we're close..." she whispered to herself. Her cheeks were burnt from the cold air, her back ached from flapping her wings against the wind, which was stronger than she had hoped.

They reached the coast faster than Patrick expected. Thankfully, the movement he had seen from a distance was just a couple of traders heading back to their ships. Patrick landed near a thick patch of trees, Sahara landed right behind him. "The trees will keep us from getting wind chill..." Patrick was definately glad to have the new coats. It was getting very cold. "We have the blankets... things to start a fire... and food. So we should be good tonight." He looked at Inori. "I know you must be cold... if you wish, you can sleep next to me. My friends always told me I was a hot head, maybe I can keep you warm." He joked.
Sahara grabbed one of the blankets she had packed for herself. "Great. I'm going to take a nap. Call me when dinner is ready." She tied Strawberry to a thin tree and retreated into the trees, with quite obviously an attitude.
Patrick frowned. "What is the matter with Sahara?"
